About
A realtor who reads the mortgage before the listing.
Jonathan Alphonso is a Toronto real estate agent with Royal LePage Terrequity Realty, and the Mortgage Broker and Managing Director of Mortgage Broker Store. He has spent 15+ years on both sides of GTA home purchases.

The short version
Two careers, one client.
Most people meet a realtor, then a lender, then a lawyer, and nobody owns the whole picture. Jonathan built his practice so one person does.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Commerce and MBA at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), then went into lending. In 2011 he founded Mortgage Broker Store, a Toronto brokerage that specialises in private and alternative mortgages for homeowners the banks turn down.
Watching clients lose homes to power of sale led to Power of Sale Ontario, a resource that explains the process in plain language and helps owners find a way out. Both companies are still run day to day from Yonge Street.
Real estate was the natural next step. As a licensed realtor Jonathan now helps GTA buyers and sellers directly, and brings a lender’s read of the numbers to every offer, appraisal and closing. [Add 1–2 personal lines: neighbourhood, family, what he does on weekends.]

How I work
Plain answers, fast replies, no pressure.
01
Numbers first
Before we tour anything, you’ll know what you can borrow, what it costs to carry, and what the exit looks like.
02
One point of contact
Offer, financing conditions, appraisal, closing. You text one person and get one answer.
03
Honest about timing
If waiting six months is the better move, you’ll hear it. Repeat clients are worth more than a quick commission.
Let’s talk about your next move.
Email or call. Jonathan answers personally.
